This two-day intensive screenwriting course will take place in San José, Costa Rica on April 6-7 at the Universidad San Judas Tadeo in Rohrmoser, from 9AM to 4PM each day.

The course will be held over 4 sessions per day covering all the tools required to craft a professional screenplay:

Writing Style

There are unlimited spaces available for the course and writers of all levels are encouraged to participate. No submission of writing samples is necessary for enrollment.

Upon completion of the course, Ms. Haigh will be hosting a series of “One-to-One” Script Editing Sessions for those writers who wish to have their work consulted on directly.

For the “One-to-One” Sessions, 5-10 spaces maximum will be available. All participants must submit either a script or full treatment in English in order to be considered for the sessions.

Participants can choose to have a Half-Day or Full-Day Session. Jacqueline will read each participant’s submission and then work with the participant individually. Through her extensive experience, she has found that this is the most efficient technique to identify story problems and find effective solutions.

The Intro to Screenwriting intensive course and One-to-One Sessions will be held in English. Assistance in Spanish will be provided. All writing materials will also be provided.
